Waitlist -
When we are expecting a litter from a pair we will take names down to notify when those puppies arrive, no money is taken until puppies have arrived and at that point picks are made in the order reservation fees are received.
Reservation’s -
Once puppies have made their arrival we will take a reservation fee to hold your place in the picking order or for a specific puppy. This fee is NON REFUNDABLE only transferrable in the event you make the decision it’s not the right time or the right puppy/litter for you. In the event you need to transfer your reservation fee you will need to notify me ASAP in writing (email, text message, facebook message, GoodDog) so we have a “paper trail” of proof and you then have up to 2 years to make a selection or you forfeit your reservation fee. I will not be reaching out to you as you near the end of the time frame, that is YOUR responsibility.
Please note that only the amount paid is what is transferred over, not the total price of the puppy. So for example, you pay a $250 reservation fee on a $1,000 puppy 1/1/25 and life happens and you have to back out on 2/7/25 you have 2 years from 2/7/25 (so 2/7/2027) to apply that $250, but in that time frame we raised our prices from $1,000 to $1,750. That means you still owe $1,500 instead of the $750 you owed back in 2025.
Reservation fees for all puppies as of 4/14/2025 is $250 unless otherwise stated.
We allow reservation fees to be paid through Zelle, Venmo (friends & family), Facebook pay, Apple Pay, or for our Mini Aussies we can use our GoodDog link.
Final payment
- In person pick up - you are welcome to pay cash or through one of the electronic payment methods listed above, but the puppy will not be released until the payment shows it has gone through on my end.
- Transport - in the event we are having the puppy transported to you we require final payment AND transport fee to be sent 72 hours before scheduled departure.
Thank you for checking out our website! Below should answer most questions you might have but please feel free to email or text with any questions not already answered!
Vet Care - All puppies go home with a medical history sheet of paper stating dates of which they receive any veterinary care, deworming, and vaccinations.
- We have tails docked on our Aussies (all sizes) and Giant Schnauzers by our vet, front dewclaws are left intact, if there are rear dewclaws we do have those removed.
- Puppies and their moms are dewormed every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks of age.
- Parvo/Distemper vaccines are completed every 2 to 3 weeks starting at 6 weeks of age, we do not transport our puppies to the vet for these vaccines but we do purchase our vaccines directly from our vet, transport home on ice and immediately put in the refrigerator.
- Our puppies visit the vet between 7 & 9 weeks of age for a vet check to make sure our vet gives them a thumbs up to go to your home as a healthy puppy.
We start all of our puppies on potty training, kennel training and doggie door training before they leave us to go to your home.
Kennel training is started at 4 weeks of age to help the puppies realize they are a cozy and safe place to be, we want to make sure for any that might need to be transported they aren’t terrified and stressed with being in a kennel but I also truly believe in crate training as a way to provide our dogs with a safe place to get away from their siblings and relax. I also believe kennels are crucial during severe weather for the safety of our dogs, and recovery after injury’s or surgery’s. The other bonus to crate training is the dog can’t eat your couch if they’re in a crate when left unattended 😉!
We start potty training at just 3 weeks of age with artificial grass to make the training process move as smoothly as we can not only for our puppies new families but also for ourselves with any keepers or puppies that might take a little longer to find their forever families.
We socialize our puppies with other dogs and our cats, we want to make sure the puppies don’t torment cats but also aren’t scared of them, and that other dogs don’t always want an annoying puppy using them as a chew toy. Our puppies get to see horses, sheep, goats and chickens through a secure fence too.
Basic obedience is started for any puppies not spoken for by the time they are 12 weeks of age, at that time their price does increase in order to accommodate the additional time spent working with the puppy and the less work you as a new family have to do.
- Grooming - ALL puppies start getting nails trimmed at 2 weeks of age for mom’s comfort, and baths are started at 4 weeks of age. We do this to make sure by the time your puppy goes home they are given a head start on baths, blow drying, nails being trimmed and Dremeled to make it as least traumatic as possible. Our giant schnauzer puppies will also be started on body clipping before leaving.
We also offer puppy training at a discount for our families! If interested in this added bonus ask :)
All of our dogs have breed specific genetic health testing completed. Once results are known each dog will have results stated in their about me profile.
We are working on completing OFA’s on our breeding dogs by the end of 2025.
We provide a 3 year health guarantee for all puppies UNLESS stated otherwise. That health guarantee is for genetic issues only. This guarantee is also only available as long as the dog is not altered before their 1st birthday but by their 2nd birthday.
The Health Guarantee does not cover anything that can be treated with medications or dietary changes such as; allergies, hypo/hyperglycimia, parasites (internal or external) or viruses. We do our absolute best to keep our puppies healthy while in our care, meaning they will see the vet at the first sign of illness, they receive age appropriate deworming and vaccines, we also keep all of our adult dogs on monthly preventative for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites.
We send our puppies home with a folder that includes a copy for you of the contract, health record for your puppy. We also include 30 days free pet insurance with Trupanion for all puppies, microchip information with FiNano (100% free just scan a QR code and enter your information). Your puppy will also go home with a little bit of the puppy food they have been eating to help transition them to the food of your choice after a couple days. I also like to send them home with some toys they are use to playing with here in our home.
