We believe that how a puppy is raised during the first several weeks of life plays a huge role in the dog they become. Our goal is to send home confident, well-adjusted puppies that are prepared to transition smoothly into their new families.
From birth until go-home day, our puppies are raised with daily interaction, structure, and early exposure to common household and environmental experiences.
Our puppy raising program includes:
Puppies are raised in a hands-on environment, allowing them to experience normal household activity while also receiving individual attention.
By the time your puppy goes home, they will have already begun learning basic structure, routine, and confidence, giving them a strong start in life.
The Australian Cattle Dog (also known as the Blue Heeler or Red Heeler) is an extremely intelligent, loyal, and hardworking breed originally developed to herd cattle in the rugged Australian outback. These dogs are known for their strong work ethic, athletic ability, and deep loyalty to their people.
Australian Cattle Dogs typically live 12–16 years and usually mature between 35–50 pounds. They are a compact, muscular breed built for endurance and long days of work.
This breed thrives in homes that can provide structure, training, and daily physical and mental exercise. Because of their intelligence and drive, they excel in activities such as obedience, herding, agility, scent work, and other performance sports. They are also commonly used as working ranch dogs.
Australian Cattle Dogs are incredibly loyal and tend to bond closely with their families. With proper training and socialization, they can be wonderful companions for active individuals or families who enjoy spending time outdoors and including their dog in daily activities.
Because they are a true working breed, they do best in homes where they have a job to do or regular outlets for their energy and intelligence. Without enough stimulation, they can become bored and develop unwanted behaviors.
Our puppies are raised with early structure and exposure to help them transition smoothly into their new homes. We begin introducing puppies to:
With the right environment, Australian Cattle Dogs become incredibly loyal companions and hardworking partners that are devoted to their families.
